"O blest communion! fellowship divine!

We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;

Yet all are one in thee, for all are thine.

Almighty God, you have knit together your elect in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord: grant us grace so to follow your blessed saints in all godly living that we may come to those inexpressible joys that you have prepared for those who truly love you; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord.

I John 3:1-3, Matthew 5:1-12.

Lord guide your Church to follow the example of your saints through the ages and to witness with joyful praise and reverent worship.

Give wisdom to all in authority that they may learn from those who in the past have governed with justice and mercy.

We pray for all who are afflicted, the the sick, the poor and the persecuted. We pray especially for Mary Maxwell.

Receive in mercy the souls of Clive Brooks and Bunty Smart and all the departed who have passed from the joys and sorrows of this world, and grant them eternal life.
