Welcome to Christ Church
Rvd. Fr. Paul Conrad
Canon Paul Conrad, MA

Graced with an elegant spire Christ Church sits atop one of the highest points in London.

The Eucharist is at the heart of the Sunday worship. We seek to express "the beauty of holiness" in the liturgy. The Sacrament is reserved, vestments are worn, there is incense on high days and good music.

A professional choir sings a wide repertoire ranging from polyphony, through baroque to contemporary music. About once a month, music is provided by an enthusiastic choir made up of children from Christ Church School.

There is a Sunday School with classes for the younger and older children. Refreshments follow the Sunday service with a chance to socialize with other church members. This is not obligatory!

Evening Prayer is said on Sundays - a quiet and reflective service from the Book of Common Prayer.

Christ Church Primary School stands next to the church and is very much part of parish life. The school sets and achieves high standards and sustained excellence makes it a highly popular choice for parents.

The school aims for the highest standards in teaching and learning and encourages self-confidence and self-discipline. While promoting a Christian ethos respect for other faiths is instilled.

Hampstead is a cosmopolitan community and this is mirrored in the congregation at Christ Church where people of many backgrounds and cultures are welcomed and come together to seek God and to worship through Jesus Christ.

We look forward to meeting you.
